578 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Blowing Fan"

I recorded this for a project i was doing, and because i used so many samples from this site on the project, i figured i'd give some back too. This is the sound of my dorm room at nyu, recorded in an xy configuration with two condenser microphones.

This is my sound recording of a large industrial fan blowing (it can be also used for a giant wind blowing for fantasy, horror and sci fi, generously). It is recorded at cheer extreme richmond.

An older generation hp proliant server booting up and shutting down. The hard drive has been spinning for many years, therefore it sounds deeper than usual. Year: 2020location: aalsmeer, the netherlandschannels: 1 (mono)microphone: unknownmic polar pattern: cardioid.

The sound is coming from the fans of a server. By pulling out one of the fans, all other fans turn up to 100%. The microphone is located above the air duct exactly in the middle of the case and thus between two fan fronts. The soundfile starts with the fans on standard speed. After a few seconds the fans turn up to 100%. I left them there for a few seconds and then quietly plugged the removed fan back in. This fan now also switches to 100% - this is the single, delayed "speed up" that can be heard from second 35. About 10 seconds later, all fans return to normal speed. Unfortunately, a colleague came in at that time and ended up talking into the recording. Due to lack of time, i was unfortunately unable to repeat the audio that day, but will certainly do another re-recording in the future. Feel free to use the sound; no attribution required. An extactor hood starting to work, running for a couple of seconds and stops. I decided to not record the switch on, switch off because it didn't "sound right" to me. A 3kw electric fan heater switches on, runs for a few seconds, then gets switched off, thus demonstrating my mastery over small electrical appliances. Olympus ls-5, built-in mic capsules, no filtering.

My tower fan is loud and annoying and broken.
